Court number 5 in Arona, Tenerife, has heard our client’s complaint against Silverpoint / Resort Properties and has ruled their favour.
The magistrate has declared null and void our clients´ timeshare contracts which were signed for more than fifty years. It has already been established on several occasions by the Supreme Court that contracts with a duration of over fifty years (commonly called in perpetuity) are illegal, just as stated in the Spanish Timeshare law (42/98) .
Our clients have also been awarded the return of over £25,957 plus the legal interests.
We would like to take this time to congratulate our clients and thank them for entrusting us with their case, this of course without forgetting the yet again outstanding work done by our whole legal team.
