Let’s end the week with ANOTHER Anfi victory!!
Congratulations go today to our Norwegian clients after the court of the First Instance SBT1 declared their contract with Anfi null and void.
After declaring their contract null and void the Judge demanded the repayment of 50.740€ PLUS INTEREST. The awarded amount included 29.500€ in respect of the amounts paid on the contract but added a further 21.240€ in respect of deposits taken illegally within the statutory cooling off period which the law dictated should be repaid in double.
Of course, we know Anfi will appeal – despite the fact that they will lose (see previous posts) so until then we, as a matter of standard procedure, will apply to the court for a provisional execution of the funds. This will force Anfi to deposit the funds into the court until the sentence is confirmed by the High Court.
