As lockdown restrictions are beginning to be eased by the Spanish government, many of our clients are requesting updates on their cases, which have subsequently been delayed by the ongoing COVID 19 crisis.
At the moment the courts throughout Spain are still currently closed for the most part, acting only on an essential basis.
Whilst there is no concrete date for them to re-open, we are now slowly beginning to receive sentences and other notifications, which were previously blocked / delayed due to Spain’s total lockdown policy. What this means in terms of a full opening date is impossible to know, however they are encouraging signs.
Canarian Legal Alliance can confirm that our offices have now re-opened with limited staff, following all the guidelines and precautions set out by the Spanish government.
We will continue to update everyone as we are given more information from the courts and the Spanish government itself. That being said at this time Canarian Legal Alliance is continuing to work hard to ensure our clients best interests are met and will be happy to answer all questions and queries.
In your podcast a short while ago you mentioned, The State Attorney in Tenerife were looking into a Ponzi Scheme re Silverpoint “participations” and I wondered if there was any further news regarding this. We appreciate your continuing help and advice.
