More excellent news for our clients who have purchased holiday “points”.
On two occasions this month the court of Granadilla in Tenerife has awarded our clients over 40.000€ after winning their cases against Sunterra/GVC who sold them Diamond points.
In passing her sentence the judge declared that the client’s contracts contained numerous violations of the Timeshare Law, for example not giving the minimum information required by the law; and declared the contracts null and void, She ordered the company to repay our clients all the money they had paid PLUS all their legal fees PLUS any interest accrued.
This is a fabulous result for our clients and for everyone involved in preparing the claim and we would like to congratulate everyone for their excellent work..
Again we are also delighted to see that that the Judge has applied the same consistent and uniformed ruling which we have seen in other cases in Tenerife sending a clear message to those companies who are mis-selling holidays product to consumers.
The precedent cases being set in Spain as a direct result of the work we are doing gives us confidence that we will be announcing more victories for our clients
