SUPREME COURT CONFIRMS : ANFI FLOATING WEEKS ARE AS ILLEGAL AS ALL THE OTHERS
Last year the Spanish Supreme Court – the highest court – ruled a number of times that companies selling floating weeks (weeks with no room number or week specified) were breaking the law.
Anfi responded by explaining to their members that those rulings were not specifically about them, therefore it does not affect them- HOW WRONG COULD THEY BE? The fact is that the lower instance courts have rapidly followed and implemented these rulings already last year against them, resulting in many more victories for our clients.
This latest Supreme Court ruling confirms to Anfi what was already obvious to us at Canarian Legal Alliance – their floating week system is just as illegal as that from any other timeshare resort in Spain.
Our clients contract with Anfi has now been declared null and void by the highest ranking court in Spain, so with no possibility of appeal, since it comprises floating weeks.
