We would like to thank you all at the Canarian Legal Alliance for the help, support and the way you handled our case against the Puerto Calma Group (Now Holiday Club).

Initially we purchased our property in 2003 and was told how it was an asset and could be passed to our children or if later if we wished to sell we could sell it back to the Puerto Calma Group. This seemed an excellent investment purchase at the time and been an asset felt happy with our purchase.

We noticed about 4 years ago the Local representive was always trying to get us to change our contract and move to points or some other new offer, but I felt this was not a good idea as I had 2 weeks in a specific apartment and was happy what I owned. We decided to ask about possible selling back to them, as we told on purchasing, that I could do this. We were then told that was no longer available and had to sell via an agent and this when I realised we needed professional help.

As a regular visitor to Puerto Rico a friend told me of the CLA and we contacted them and attended a meeting with Jasmin in late February 2016 where we decided to work with them on a case against the Puerto Calma Group. I presented all my documents and worked with the CLA to ensure all documents I had were presented to them.

On the 8th January 2018 we attended court at Maspalomas where we met our Solicitor and Jake who would act as our translator, everything went well in court and on the 22nd January 2018 we were told that the court had found in our favour and our contract was null and void. We then had the case taken to a higher court and again due to the work of the CLA Team we have now had the final result. We would receive our Full purchase price and our maintenance payments plus interest.

We would most certainly recommend Canarian Legal Alliance to anyone that could be thinking of legal action and don’t me put off by the court appearance as I found it a very easy and stress free experience due the professionalism of my solicitor and support from Jake.
