Today we are delighted to be sharing with you another fantastic win for our Norwegian clients.
High Court number 5 have finalised our clients claim by awarding them 48.309€ PLUS INTEREST PLUS COSTS – 8.000€ MORE THAN THEY ORIGINALLY PAID!
As we have stated many times before, the taking of deposits within the statutory cooling off period is illegal and the law dictates that these amounts should be repaid in DOUBLE. As you can see from this claim it can make a BIG DIFFERENCE to the amounts awarded by the court.
Our clients won their claim against Anfi in the courts of the First Instance SBT 3 when the Judge declared our clients’ contract with Anfi null and void and demanded FULL repayment of all amounts paid PLUS DOUBLE the amounts paid in illegal deposits.
Of course Anfi appealed this decision……and of course they lost their appeal………………..
