On the basis that their contract was for a term or more than 50 years the justices came to this decision, affirming the numerous rulings they have already made on this matter.

The other highly significant element of this ruling is that the Supreme court, the highest legal authority in Spain has, for only the second time, ordered the resort to repay double the deposit paid by our client since the taking of any money for any purpose paid to anyone within the “cooling-off” period is illegal.
