As usual Canarian Legal Alliance likes to start its week with a bang, such as another three Silverpoint Supreme Court victories.
Having already ruled in favour of consumer in a number of occasions, the Supreme Court has yet again proven to all those with doubt that it will not tolerate any illegalities as it pertains to the Spanish Timeshare Law of 42/98.
Just like previous rulings the highest-ranking court in Spain declared our clients Silverpoint contracts null and void, due to the fact that there was no end date to the contract itself. Any timeshare contract must have an end date, limiting its life span to 50 years and not a day longer.
The Supreme Court stance on deposit taking has also be reaffirmed, with the court ordering Silverpoint return all monies paid within the 10-day cooling off period in double.
Our clients will be getting back over £102,900 plus legal fees and legal interest.
Congratulations to our clients and to the whole legal team involved.
